Comfortable room, excellent service, with a clean atmosphere enhanced by the attentive staff who ensured a delightful breakfast experience every morning, complemented by Charlie’s great beer suggestions during our enjoyable dinner in the pub.

I loved my stay, especially enjoying the spacious room complete with a cozy terrace, and the great shower in the en suite. Relaxing at the live entertainment and sun terrace was a nice way to unwind after a long day. The only slight hiccup was that the breakfast could've used a little more frequent topping up, but honestly, it didn’t really matter much. 😊

I had a lovely stay, especially enjoying the cozy garden area and the delicious Sunday lunch. The burrata starter was amazing, and the dessert was rich and creamy. Definitely returning!

Had a brilliant time at Royal Oak! Those tandoori dishes at Purbani just hit the spot. The morning continental spread was a delight, with special granola pots and toasted sandwiches that kept breakfast interesting! Plus, the staff's warmth is top-notch, making you feel right at home.

Only a cheeky gripe about the noise – being on a main road isn't ideal after a busy night, and I missed having a chair in the room for a bit of comfort.

WiFi struggles for connection!!! A steep climb to the top floors needs a lift installation!!! Limited nearby shopping and attractions without a car!!!

Fantastic Stay with Delightful Staff

I recently stayed for one night in a Deluxe Double Room, and I was impressed by the excellent service from the friendly staff. The room was beautifully presented, clean, and very quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep. Breakfast offered a fantastic variety, including freshly baked pastries and a hearty full English. The lively pub atmosphere added to the experience, making it a lovely spot to unwind after a long day.

The welcome was warm, thanks to attentive staff who made every effort to ensure a pleasant stay. The cooked breakfast was a highlight, featuring fresh and seasonal ingredients, while the cleanliness of the room made for a comfortable environment. Although the experience was overall great, the ladies' restroom, though spotless, could use a touch more decor for ambiance.
